Futako-Tamagawa Rise Premium Beer Party

A strong candidate for Southern Tokyo's hottest new spot this spring, the Futako-Tamagawa Rise shopping centre opened in April and has been predictably crowded ever since. Now gearing up for the hot months, the complex is turning its open-air plaza into a beer garden built around two main pillars: basic booze in the form of Premium Malts and Spanish gourmet specialities courtesy of Pastelería Mallorca. At least the food here should be more interesting than that available at most similar arrangements around town – after all, Mallorca is an official purveyor to the Spanish court.
