Time Out says

A name forever associated with the D-Day landings of 1944, the northern French region of Normandy and its medieval cities like Le Havre, Honfleur and Rouen provided inspiration for early impressionists and Fauvists like Raoul Dufy, Eugène Louis Boudin and Johan Barthold Jongkind. 80 pieces on the theme, assembled primarily from French museums, will now be on display at the Sompo Museum of Art for this interesting exhibition. Learn more about the origins of impressionism and marvel at dramatic landscapes and city scenes from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
