Time Out says

'They are so precious to me, so I price them very high in order not to sell,' says legendary cult film-maker Alejandro Jodorowsky of the series of drawings he did in collaboration with his wife Pascale. Luckily for us, gallery owner Atsuko Barouh convinced the Jodorowskys to reproduce the works as high-quality glicée prints for this exhibition, which means we can buy them here at more affordable prices. It also means that they are all signed, limited-edition works. The collaborative series was first exhibited in 2011 at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and this is the first time they will be shown in Japan. It was Pascale, Jodorowsky's third wife and who is 40 years younger than the 85-year-old, who urged him to paint more. The couple also worked together on Jodorowsky's autobiographical film, 'The Dance of Reality', which was released last year (Pascale produced the costumes). Of their artworks, he says, 'My world is purgatory. Her world is a pure heavenly one. She rescues my dark visions.'
