The weather forecast for the next few days is mid-season - with wind, maximum temperatures that don't reach 20º and clouds in the sky. But next Tuesday, 30 April, will be a taste of summer in Cascais, with the official start of the bathing season.
This year, the date will be marked at Carcavelos Beach with an afternoon of educational games, rescue demonstrations and activities in the areas of science, sport and the environment, as well as the traditional official ceremony, attended by all the partners who ensure the vigilance and smooth running of the beaches along the Cascais coastline during the warmer months.
From May 1, all the beaches in the municipality will once again be guarded by lifeguards, reinforcing the teams on the beaches of Conceição, Duquesa, Moitas, São Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos, which are guarded all year round.
