Every year, headteachers from across the UK gather for the hottest night in teaching. Tes, which was once the Times Education Supplement paper and now produces software for schools, holds an annual celebration of the best in UK education. From primary schools to headteachers, the organisation celebrates the institutions which are giving students the best they can get, and increasing the value of local homes tenfold.
There are 21 categories which schools could be nominated for, with the ceremony scheduled for the June 21. As well as the big ticket prizes like best secondary school, best headteacher, and best primary, there are some pretty niche categories like ‘pupil mental health initiative of the year’ and ‘teaching assistant of the year’.
If you’re deciding which neighbourhood to move to with your family, or are just very invested in the goings on of the education sector, here are all the nominees.
