Time Out says

You'll not find anything particularly fancy at Homework's – nothing on the scale of, say, the cherry burger at nearby Burger Mania – but this little Hiroo stalwart does a very solid burger should something a little up-market take your fancy.

The meat is 100 percent pure beef – none of your preservatives nonsense here – and each chunky patty comes served in a large toasty bun (brown or white, your choice), packed with fresh salad. The lunch menu is always worth a punt, coming with a soft drink and thin fries, but the combo isn't cheap; the 'regular' serving (the middle of three sizes) works out at ¥1,450. The added topping changes daily, but it's never anything too way out – a couple of slices of fried bacon is about as exciting as it gets.

Located next door to a temple on a quiet street corner, the restaurant (think café but with chefs in very clean whites) is situated in a pleasant enough area, and on a warm day the shop front opens out onto the pavement. Offices and residents in the area make the most of the delivery service (their takeout sandwiches are excellent), and it's worth noting, too, that there's a happy hour between 5pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday, when you get a bowl of french fries with your draft beer for ¥300 – a bargain in anyone's book, surely.
