A tiny Golden Gai institution, owned by a film fanatic (the place gets its name from the Chris Marker classic) who speaks fluent French but little English. Popular with French expatriates and creative types, it’s also a favourite haunt of many visiting filmmakers, from Wim Wenders to Quentin Tarantino.
