It’s like a playground for grown-ups at this basement clubbing institution, which recently made a comeback to Shinjuku's Ni-chome. Arch holds regular men- and women-only nights, alongside gender-bending, drag queen-courting free-for-alls. Depending on which event you go to, the music might be anything from anime theme songs to underground techno – and, yes, they do have the odd cheesy pop party, too.
