Time Out says

Influential art director Yasushi Fujimoto – a veteran of Vogue Nippon, Brutus and countless other magazines – first established this Harajuku gallery in 1996, with a view to giving exposure to up-and-coming artists. Rocket's mission has changed a little since then: in 2011, it expanded its remit to include food as well as art, and it now hosts short-run culinary events alongside the more conventional exhibitions. In spring 2016, Rocket will move back to the spot where it was founded – and where the legendary Dojunkai Aoyama apartments still stood in 1996. Its next home will be the new extension wing of Omotesando Hills, which has been christened Dojunkan – how appropriate.
