Zenshoan

Zenshoan, one of many temples in the Yanaka district of Taito-ku, is a large complex known for its impressive collection of 19th century ghoulish scrolls depicting supernatural folk tales of old Japan. The scrolls go on display at the temple annually during the month of August.
