Halloween Party 2014

This fun pre-Halloween event is held at the Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome, a botanical garden located on the man-made Yume no Shima ('Dream Island'). Running until Sunday October 26, the event offers visitors the chance to gawp at, touch and play with as many as eighty giant pumpkins that each weigh between 50 and 100kg. Visitors also have the opportunity to learn about the origins of Halloween and take funny pictures in various costumes at the Halloween Photo Spot. What better way to prepare for the big day than to roll some actual pumpkins around, eh?
