Time Out says

55 years after it opened to strong reviews on Broadway, few people would dispute West Side Story's reputation as one of the all-time greatest musicals. Of its original creators, only lyricist Steven Sondheim is still with us today, though playwright Arthur Laurents managed to direct this 2009 Broadway revival before passing away last year at the age of 93. The Jets and Sharks are now heading to Tokyo for the opening of the new Tokyu Theatre Orb in Shibuya – the first time a Broadway production of West Side Story will have been staged here in 48 years.

Note: A limited number of tickets will be available on the door one hour before each performance, starting from July 19. Standing-only tickets (¥5,000 per person) will also be sold
