DJ Champion & MC Serious

The mainstream music press may have lost interest in UK funky almost as soon as it discovered it, but that hasn't deterred some of the genre's key producers. DJ Champion (or simply 'Champion', as he prefers to be known) supplied some of the early anthems of the scene, and – after getting bogged down in contractual issues – is now pushing things forward via his own Formula Records imprint. Get a taste as he hits Module this weekend alongside hype man MC Serious, with support from local bass enthusiasts including BD1982 and Skyfish.
