My Bloody Valentine

They practically invented that whole 'wall of noise' thing, and when My Bloody Valentine returned to the live circuit in 2008 after a 15-year hiatus, they proved that they still do it better than almost anyone else. Though the group headlined Fuji Rock Festival that year, their latest trip to Tokyo is their first Japan tour for over two decades. Tickets sold out waaaaay in advance, but the group have further stoked anticipation for the gigs by finally releasing a third album, m b v, which came out over the weekend.
