Crystal Castles are a Canadian duo hailing from Toronto. The band members, Ethan Kath and Alice Glass, met while they were both doing local community service work. Their cool visuals and electronic beats - and Alice’s mandatory crowd surfing at every live gig – brought them international attention and, despite it being an indie release, their debut album ‘Crystal Castles’ sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. Their second album, also called ‘Crystal Castles,’ went on sale in June this year. It was recorded in all kinds of places around the world, including a church in Iceland, a self-made cabin in northern Ontario, the garage in what was left of an old convenience store in Detroit and also a London studio. This will be the band’s eagerly awaited first headlining tour.
