Originally due to take place in September, the Tokyo edition of Vogue's globe-straddling after-hours shopping event was postponed by a couple of months in the wake of March 11 – though it seems the organisers still didn't understand the whole 'after-hours' part of the concept. There will be over 400 shops participating in this year's Fashion's Night Out, which should perhaps be retitled Fashion's Afternoon and Evening Out. There'll be DJs spinning at Omotesando Hills throughout the event, and shopaholics can rack up stamps on the official guidebook (one stamp each time you spend over ¥5,000) to take part in a raffle for all kinds of desirable goodies. You can also expect free drinks and music at some of the participating shops, though we suspect that it'll feel like business as usual at many of the others.
