Fujio Akatsuka Café

Pioneering manga artist Fujio Akatsuka, creator of the 'Tensai Bakabon' classic and of quirky characters like the unagi-inu ('eel-dog'), would have been 80 this year. Harajuku's Wow Café celebrates his anniversary with exhibits of Akatsuka comics, sketches and other related materials, plus a special menu featuring some of the 'gag manga' king's best-known creations.
