Time Out says

Featuring 18 artists from the Asia-Pacific region, the Museum of Contemporary Art's spring exhibit turns the focus to how, in our globalising age, we interact and deal with 'others', be they people with different values, experiences or styles of communication. Curated by the museum staff together with representatives from Osaka's National Museum of Art, the Singapore Art Museum and the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art, 'Time of Others' includes work by Vietnam-born photographer An-My Lê, who documents US navy activities all around the world, Indonesia's Saleh Husein, who ponders questions surrounding the state and nationalism, and Philippine visual artist Kiri Dalena, whose 'Erased Slogans' project recalls and discusses how the Marcos government painstakingly removed critical slogans from published pictures of mass protests in the '70s. Japanese representatives include the late On Kawara, sound artist Mamoru and Okinawan-born Futoshi Miyagi.
