Time Out says

Now widely recognised as part of the next generation of world-class Japanese architects, Sou Fujimoto was still a complete unknown in 2000, when he narrowly lost out to Jun Aoki in an open competition for the right to design the Aomori Museum of Art. His career so far has been dedicated to pondering what makes urban environments 'liveable' and attractive – a theme that also runs through this exhibit, consisting of around 100 plans and models of Fujimoto's recent and current projects. Pushing Japanese architecture into an exciting future, his work hints at the future of cities all around the world.
