With a 3D printer and laser cutter on the premises, Shibuya's FabCafe offers an ideal environment for creative types looking to make some of their very own V-Day sweets. The Macaron Fab (¥1,500 for a set of three) set lets you create a design on one of the café's iPads and then laser-cut it onto some colourful macarons. For some more advanced 3D magic, participate in the Valentine Special Snap & Touch (¥7,000, Feb 7 & 8 from 12noon, 3pm & 6pm) or the Fab So Sweets (¥8,000/couple, Feb 14 from 12noon, 3pm & 6pm), both of which involve you (and your partner, if you go together) getting 3D-scanned and printed. The printed figurines can then be attached to jar caps, used to close jars filled with either marshmallows or coffee beans.
