Magnolia Bakery Valentine's Collection

The wildly popular Harajuku outpost of NYC's dessert specialists Magnolia Bakery turns up the sweetness one more notch for V-Day with offerings like heart-shaped cupcakes and seasonal chocolate cookies. Perhaps in order to relieve some of the stress on their main store, which tends to see constant queues on weekends, Magnolia has opened pop-up shops all over town for the occasion. In addition to the well-stocked Shinagawa shop, Valentine's presents can also be picked up at Ikebukuro's Seibu (between Jan 24 and Feb 15), the Takashimaya shopping centre at Futako-Tamagawa (Jan 28-Feb 3), and inside the east building of Shibuya's Tokyu department store (Feb 5-14).
