Classics feat. DJ Premier

Now housed at Shibuya's Vision, the 'Classics' party has done the Tokyo club scene a huge service over these last nine or so years by flying the flag for true 90's hip hop. Having already brought artists like The Beatnuts and Jeru the Damaja to town, Classics now welcome Brooklyn's producing great DJ Premier, formerly one half of Gang Starr and the force behind essential albums like Nas's Illmatic and Afu-Ra's Body of the Life Force. Besides, the fact that he's worked with Christina Aguilera without losing his street cred sure says something.
